SNYOPSIS

A wannabe novelist-turned-waitress from Kansas and a theoretical physicist-turned-dishwasher from a far-flung corner of the former Soviet Empire find each other, and themselves, slinging hash and chasing the great American dream on the lower east side of New York City. But when cultures clash, it turns out “coming to America” isn’t quite what either of them expected.
